The dynamic duo Harris&DeBray is an offshoot of the renowned Vancouver Canada act, Lesismore. Made up of singer Leslie Harris (vocals and percussion) and guitarist Curtis DeBray (acoustic guitar and vocals), it is wowing audiences with its foot stompin', guitar pickin', both singin' vintage blues, roots and originals. Their debut cd "Passin' Time" has stayed in the Top 40 on Reverbnation's Blues Chart since its release.
Curtis and Leslie met in BC's Okanagan in 1996 and, recognizing kindred spirits, started playing together. Many years, musical adventures and shenanigans later, they continue to be best friends and creative companions and the result of that partnership is Harris&DeBray.
In May of 2019, they got to share the bill with Suzie Vinnick, which was a huge honor, not to mention a damn good time! Then in May of 2022, they opened for the legendary Powder Blues Band at the Rio Theater and got rave reviews for their set - and some very flattering comments from Tom Lavin! On May 26, 2023 they'll share the bill with The Bradley McGillivray Blues Band at Mel Lehan Hall and are stoked about this show!
"Now that we're on the other side of the apocalypse (lol) we've got a ton of exciting stuff happening! Concerts, festivals, new songs, some recording - it's all good and we appreciate you supporting us!"
